Applications
Interconnection cable for audio, video and broadcast applications.
Every layer, clearly defined.
| Inner conductor | Electrolytic stranded tinned copper wire, 0.22 mm² (EN 60228, class 2) |
|---|---|
| Insulation | Solid PE, 1.22 mmØ |
| Individual twisting and shielding | Insulated cores are colour-coded according to Table 1 and twisted into pairs. Each pair is screened with 100% coverage AL-PES tape and a 0.22 mm² (7 × 0.20) drain conductor. The aluminium side contacts the drain wire for screen continuity. Colour-code table to be confirmed. |
| Intermediate sheath | PVC, 3.30 mm diameter. Screened pairs are individually sheathed according to pair count; pair numbers are printed on the sheath. Source Table 2 is not published. |
| Assembly and overall screen | Colour-coded sheathed pairs are laid up in layers from the centre outward. Overall screen: 100% coverage AL-PES tape with a 0.22 mm² (7 × 0.20) drain conductor; aluminium side in contact with the drain wire. |
| Outer sheath | Flexible PVC |
| Sheath colour | Matt black |
